The Suburban Friendship League (SFL)

The Suburban Friendship League (SFL)
BRYC's U-13 and U-14 Boys will again join BRYC’s U-16 and U-19 Boys teams playing throughout Northern Virginia in games scheduled by the Suburban Friendship League (SFL).  The SFL divides its leagues into two Divisions.  Adjustments to the teams assigned to the two divisions are made at the end of each season, based on win/loss records, to assure that there is a level of parity for competitive games the following season.

An additional bonus to playing through the SFL is the season-ending tournament.  Teams are seeded into small groupings according to an SFL formula that adjusts their season standings to account for points given for forfeits and other technical issues, giving every team an opportunity to play against teams of similar ability and to win.

BRYC plans to field teams at all age levels in the Herndon tournament at the end of the fall recreational soccer season, and the Fairfax Police tournament at the end of the spring recreational soccer season.
