June 30 - At the end of every season our coaches gather to celebrate another season of BRYC soccer with a Coach's Game. This season, we played in VERY hot conditions, and for the FIRST time the game ended in a 1-1 tie! Our officials were Doug Alcorn (Depty Commissioner of the Senior Division), Darryl Miller (right hand man of our Field Director, Trish Moxie) and Elizabeth Giuliani (Treasurer for BRYC Rec Soccer and At-Large Member of the BRYC Big Board). When coming off the field, some of the coaches said, "I will never get after my players again for not running when it's hot!"

That's one of the key goals of our coaches game, it's important to play the game you are coaching and feel what the kids are feeling. It also gives the kids a chance to cheer their parent(s) on, AND of course, there are great snacks, cake and raffle prizes! This season, raffle prizes were donated by CCI Screenprinting, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Anthony Pagano and the All Star Program.

BRYC would not function without our dedicated coaches and we are VERY thankful for all they, and their families give every year. Have a GREAT summer, everyone! We look forward to seeing you back in the fall!
